Two Bronx cops scored some major brownie points by helping to net an impressive haul of pot-laced goodies, which included the chocolate squares, Rice Krispies and s’mores, police said.
The officers made the sweet bust after they pulled over a 2000 Gray Nissan for a traffic violation on East Gun Hill Road at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.
When the cops approached the driver’s side window, they smelled marijuana, police said.
The officers also saw suspicious packages in plain view, according to authorities.
They eventually found marijuana and the shady treats, which later tested positive for cannabis.
Suspects Luis Sanchez, 26, and Gabriel Cruz, 22, were arrested on drug-possession charges.
The officers involved in the bust posed for a photo with the illicit sweets.
The snapshot was posted on Twitter by the 49th Precinct on Sunday night.
“The NYPD Special Operations recovers massive amounts of Marijuana infused Brownies, Cookies, & Rice Krispy treats…” the tweet reads.
