A man and woman were found dead in an upper Manhattan apartment — the woman bound and gagged, and both shot in the head — in what cops believe was a murder-suicide late Monday, cops said.
Cops were called to an apartment on West 180th Street near Fort Washington Avenue in Washington Heights around 11:20 p.m., where they found the deceased 26-year-old man on top of the body of a 22-year-old woman in a bedroom, police said.
The woman was bound and gagged with a gunshot wound to her head, and the man also had a gunshot wound to his head — apparently self-inflicted, according to police.
A Smith and Wesson firearm was recovered on scene, cops said.
Cops did not immediately know what provoked the fatal incident.
