The Wildcat returns for his 20th season in The Post. Including his 1997-2006 seasons in the Bettor’s Guide, Cat’s record in print stands at 546-462 (54.1 percent) against the spread.
Saturday
Dolphins (+4½) over BILLS: Buffalo has not been the Dolphins’ Victory Garden in recent seasons, especially in cold Decembers. But the thermometer should be pushing 40 degrees, and morning rains should dissipate. Stand-in quarterback Matt Moore beat the Bills upstate five years ago, before Ryan Tannehill’s ascent. Since their offensive line coalesced and the running game settled, Miami has lost once. The Bills are wondering where everyone’s going to wind up in 2017. Dolphins roll with playoffs in sight, for one unit.
Colts (+3½) over RAIDERS: It’s tough to re-embrace the Silver and Black until Derek Carr demonstrates his throwing hand is up to the demands of the modern passing game, other than out of the shotgun. Andrew Luck attended Stanford, so he will feel at home, picking at Raiders’ iffy passing “D.” Ride the Colts, for one unit.
Last week: 1-1. Bengals (L). Panthers (W).
Season: 18-12-2
