A man who turned himself into police for beating up his grandfather had even more charges heaped upon him after he threatened to sexually assault a female cop and kill her family, police sources said.
Akiva Mitchell, 19, freaked out on the cop as he was being transported to court from the 47th Precinct in Wakefield at around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
“I am going to kill you, wait and see. I will shoot you in the back,” he told the officer, according to sources.
“You will see, you’re going to suck my d–k,” he raged. “I am going to find your house and kill you there. Your family is f—ing dead.”
Mitchell was charged with making terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and several counts of harassment, police said.
Mitchell had been wanted for an incident in which he roughed up his 65-year-old grandfather earlier this month at his home on East 228th Street and turned himself in at the precinct, where he threatened the officer.
Mitchell allegedly stole his grandfather’s cell phone and refused to give it back before punching him in the arm and breaking the front door on Dec. 7, police said.
He also hurled a landline telephone at the victim, hitting the man in the side.
In that incident, he was charged with robbery, assault, grand larceny, aggravated harassment and criminal mischief, police said.
He was also charged with violating an order of protection, police added.
