A man and a woman assaulted a Bronx bus driver when he refused their demands to stop the vehicle Friday evening, cops said.
The victim, 48, was at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Longwood Avenue when the duo told him to pull over around 5 p.m.
When he refused, the woman spat in his eye and the man punched him in the face.
Both fled, and the driver went to Lincoln Hospital for evaluation.
Police describe the suspects, pictured, as a 5-foot-4 woman in her early 20s and a 5-foot-6 man in his late teens or early 20s.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
