‘The Bachelor’ won’t find love if he keeps this blonde around

2016 left #BachelorNation a parting gift in the form of Corrine Olympios.

The polarizing 24-year-old became public enemy No. 1 on Monday’s episode of “The Bachelor,” as her brazen personality continued to rub the competition the wrong way.

“I have met girls like Corrine before and they are not my friends,” 23-year-old Taylor assesses. “She projects her sexuality on Nick.”

Not that man of the hour Nick Viall seemed to mind. During the group date, in which he and several ladies starred in a cheesy wedding-themed photo shoot, Corrine lost her top in the pool in a desperate attempt to one-up the contenders.

“I want to be his at the end so I’m going to have to step up my game,” says a bikini-clad Corrine.

While Corrine ultimately wins the challenge, it appears she’s an early contender for Nick’s heart, interrupting the ladies later in the evening to score one-on-one time with him.

“Honestly, the other girls are just jealous because Nick and I have that connection. I just want to be with him,” Corrine seethes. “It feels like Nick is already mine.

And for now, it appears the feeling is mutual.

“I’m really impressed by you so far,” Nick tells Corrine. “You’re really sexy and you take the initiative.”

Though Corrine does receive a rose, a spark also ignites between Nick and 23-year-old Taylor.

“I think Nick really enjoyed his time with me. Our conversations are intellectually stimulating and I think that’s what he wants,” Taylor shares.

Despite her early scheming, Nick decides there’s room in his heart for someone other than Corrine: fellow beauty Danielle M..

After scoring the first one-on-one date with Nick, Danielle M. and her new boyfriend enjoy a cozy dinner under the stars, where she gets real about her past relationships.

“I felt like I connected with Danielle in a more profound way than I ever thought I would,” Nick reveals. “There’s no doubt in my mind that she has the qualities I’m looking for in a wife.”

Nick awards Danielle M. a rose and the two cap off a romantic evening with a ride on the Ferris wheel.

“I’m so happy, just getting to know each other and hanging out,” Danielle M. gushes. “It exceeded my expectations and I don’t want this night to end.”

Though Nick’s early dates seem to go well, his final outing with the remaining women at the Museum of Broken Relationships predictably takes a disastrous turn.

After being tasked to “break up” with the Bachelor, Liz takes the challenge seriously by spilling her feelings about their one-night stand.

“So Nick, when I first met you it was in a hotel lobby,” she begins. “Your carefree spirit matched mine and even standing before you in this very difficult moment draws me in. I know we had a lot of fun, but I was hurt and I wasn’t fully ready to let you in. And I guess neither did you at that time.”

While Liz’s admission leaves many of the women feeling perplexed, Nick is none too pleased with her actions.

“I was really uncomfortable and I wasn’t expecting Liz to tell our dating story in front of the other five women. I don’t know what Liz has been sharing with the other women, but it reiterates the feeling that we need to talk about her being here,” Nick states. “I want to be up front with all of the women as soon as possible.”

After stealing a moment with Liz, Nick has to determine whether or not her motives are pure.

“About us having a past, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. We’re two adults who had a fun night and when you showed up night one, there was definitely a pleasant surprise behind it,” Nick expresses to Liz. “But at the same time, if I’m being up front, it raised a lot of questions I had.”

Though Nick gives Liz a chance to explain herself, he believes it’s best to quit while they’re ahead.

“I think based on the conversation we’ve had now, I have the clarity I’m looking for and I just don’t think we have a future,” Nick says. “I think it’s best for both of us if we say goodbye tonight.”

After bidding adieu to Liz, Nick comes clean to the other women about their brief history. And while Liz did not receive the final rose, she likely earned herself a spot on “Bachelor in Paradise.”

We’ll see you in August, Liz.
