A woman slashed a man across the face with a shattered wine glass at an upscale nightclub owned by hip-hop star Jay-Z, early Saturday morning, police say.
Lia Blount, 27, is accused of cutting 21-year-old Alejandro Corona across the right cheek during a 12:30 a.m. dispute inside the The 40/40 Club in the Flatiron Distirct, according to police.
Blount was charged with assault and released on $15,000 bond. Corona was treated at Bellevue Hospital for his injuries.
Blount is no stranger to bloodshed. She was arrested in 2011 after an incident in which a she allegedly stabbed a relative in the gut with a kitchen knife, police say. The disposition of the case against her was not immediately available.
Representatives from The 40/40 Club were not available for comment.
