She’s got legs for days.
Australian ex-model Carolina Arthur claims her lengthy legs rank among the longest in the world, measuring a staggering 51.5 inches from her hip to her heel.
“I believe that they are definitely the longest in Australia and, as far as I know, in America too,” the 6-foot-2, 39-year-old mother of two said in an interview with Barcroft Media.
Arthur is now bidding to challenge the current world record holder.
Guinness World Records holder Svetlana Pankratova, a Russian standing 6-foot-5, has legs that measure a whopping 51.9 inches.
“When I realized that my legs might be the longest in the world, I was super excited,” said Arthur, a Melbourne resident. “I think being so close, it’s worth contacting [the Guinness Book of World Records] and finding out.”
Arthur said that for as long as she can remember, she’s had trouble buying clothes that fit properly.
“I had to buy clothes that were way too big around my waist to get the length in,” said the blond beauty.
Arthur even admitted that while growing up, she was self-conscious about her height until she began modeling at the age of 15.
“I did feel awkward and unattractive and I had a real stage that I didn’t feel beautiful,” Arthur said, adding that her nickname during her adolescent years was “Caroline the Power Line.”
“I can honestly say that now as a 39-year-old woman, I am the most secure in my own skin that I have ever been.”
