Mayor de Blasio refused to address how ACS has failed to protect some of the city’s most vulnerable children for the second day in a row — as another battered boy’s death was ruled a homicide.
Hizzoner instead defended his taxpayer-funded legal bills on Brian Lehrer’s radio show Friday, while remaining silent on the ACS and the Department of Investigation’s damning report on “systemic” problems within the agency.
A spokesman, Eric Phillips, said in a statement: “The report lays out some reforms that we agree with and ACS is putting them in place.”
