Police are searching for a missing Westchester woman who was last seen on surveillance video in Grand Central Terminal.
Veronica Hallock, 24, of Croton-on-Hudson, has been missing since Tuesday, when she took off on a Metro North train unannounced, according to police and family members said.
She was last seen in security footage at Grand Central Terminal around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 14, police sources said. The video shows her getting off the train and taking an elevator upstairs.
“She’s not a very typical missing person,” Hallock’s mom, Janie, told The Post. “She’s not a drinker or a druggie.”
“She’s been having a tough time lately. We’re having a tough time in our family,” the mom said, adding that a close relative has a severe illness.
Janie said her daughter has never gone missing before – and always leaves a note when she leaves the house.
“We desperately want to find her safe and sound,” Hallock’s sister, Emily, wrote on Facebook. “She is 24 years old, 5’10 and slim, with green eyes, glasses, and long brown hair.”
“If you see her, please tell her that her family loves her and wants her to come home,” the sister added.
Hallock suffers from depression, according to police sources.
