New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said he has not decided whether he would want to give up any White House plans and join WFAN as a sports commentator.
Asked by former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason whether he would be taking a job in the White House or replacing WFAN’s Mike Francesa, Christie said it’s a “tough choice.”
“I’ll tell you something, Boomer, it’s a very tough choice,” Christie said.
“But I’m going to keep my powder dry and see what the best offer is. I know that’s what you would do.“
Christie — whose term as governor end in January 2018 — said he’ll weigh his options.
“I feel like a bit of a baseball player. I’ll be a free agent for the first time in 16 years,” Christie told CBS radio’s the “Boomer and Carton Show.”
