Although domestic airlines (like American) continue to slash amenities such as seat-back TVs on their new planes, Emirates is beefing up its onboard lounge for first- and business-class passengers with an even swankier in-flight bar.
Debuting in July, the redesigned cabin for its A380 plane features a bar, a 55-inch live TV screen with surround sound and soundproof curtains so you can mingle with fellow rich people in private. The lounge can accommodate up to 26 passengers.
Tim Clark, president of Emirates, said in a press release, “Particularly on long-haul flights, our customers tell us they appreciate the opportunity to stretch their legs and mingle.”
