Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Mark Ronson has sold his beach house in star-studded Amagansett for its asking price of $1.45 million.
His 1,400-square-foot contemporary-style spread, we hear now belongs to a Connecticut-based family.
The four-bedroom, two-bathroom property — whose features include a woodburning fireplace, an eat-in kitchen, an enclosed deck with sliding barn doors and an outdoor shower — sits on 0.17 acres.
Additional touches include beamed ceilings.
But best of all, it’s a block away from the ocean. For Ronson, the property has some serious sentimental value.
“I have a house between Amagansett and Montauk. That’s where I proposed to my wife, on the beach at Napeague,” the British DJ told Hamptons Magazine last year.
“I keep it because even though I spend most of my time back in London now, it still represents this lovely escape. It’s one of the few places that I go where you open the door and it just feels good.” The listing broker was Douglas Elliman’s Lynda Packard.
