The Brooklyn man accused of shooting Knicks forward Cleanthony Early during an armed robbery last April has admitted to taking part in the hold-up, court papers say.
Delvon Dowling, 23, copped to accessory charges related to the armed robbery in his Brooklyn federal court case Monday, according to the documents. It was not clear if the plea was part of a deal for a reduced sentence.
Early was shot in the knee after leaving a Queens jiggle joint with a gal pal when Dowling and others boxed in their Uber and stole jewelry and a cell phone phone.
It was not immediately clear how much time Dowling faces under federal sentencing guidelines or if a sentencing date has been set.
Dowling’s lawyer did not immediately return a message.
