Actor Robert De Niro’s daughter-in-law stiffed the family’s nanny on overtime pay, according to a new lawsuit by the former domestic helper.
Thais Dilazary worked for Douglas Elliman broker Claudine De Niro, who is married to the actor’s son Raphael, from October 2012 through March 2013, the Manhattan Supreme Court suit says.
Dilazary put in 50 to 57-hour workweeks watching the couple’s three children and caring for their home, according to court papers.
She was paid a “flat weekly salary, regardless of the number of hours she worked,” the suit says.
She should have been paid time-and-a-half for any hours she worked over a regular 40-hour week, the suit says.
Dilazary is suing for unspecified damages.
Claudine De Niro did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
