Expect more pop-up stores in the Big Apple

An upstart retail listings concept is now live in New York after success in London and Paris.

After founding Appear Here in London in 2013 when he was just 20, Ross Bailey has so far raised $9.4 million from investors. He’s also signed up 80,000 client tenants to use Appear Here’s European sites and booked 10 million square feet. The site was initially designed to help brands launch concepts.

It offers some spots for pop-up locations for as little as one day and has been used by Coca-Cola, Net-a-Porter, Kanye West and numerous others.

Here in New York, listings include Smorgasburg in Prospect Park, which is seeking food vendors for its Saturday summer market at $175 per day.
