A Queens woman was among five people busted in a rash of cellphone thefts at the Coachella music festival, California cops said on Sunday.
Angela Trivino, a 35-year-old Corona resident, was busted Friday for allegedly working in tandem with Viviana Hernandez, 38, of Los Angeles, to pilfer smartphones, according to Indio police and Riverside County jail records.
Also over the weekend, cops said three other people were arrested in a theft ring: Brenda Cansino, 29, of Miami; Sharon Ruiz, 25, and Marco Leon, 27, both of LA.
Trivino and Hernandez stole about 10 phones and the second group swiped about 30, cops said.
These arrests came a week after Queens resident, Reinaldo De Jesus Henao, 36, was picked up with 100 stolen phones at Coachella, officials said.
