A woman who offers a topless cleaning service in Bangor, Maine was arrested for allegedly stealing underwear from a local lingerie shop.
The Bangor Police Department said that the woman, who advertises “Topless Cleaning” with a makeshift flyer on loose leaf paper, shoplifted several “naughty underlings” from the store.
Bangor Police Sgt. Tim Cotton said in a Facebook post that the suspect had “stolen garments that would fully cover, support, and contain much of what her business title promised her customers.”
Cotton came to the conclusion that the underwear was likely worn “upon the initial approach to customers,” before she takes part in the topless cleaning activities.
The topless cleaning woman was arrested on the shoplifting charge. Police said they did not find any cleaning supplies on her.
