Kellyanne Conway hits back against ‘Morning Joe’ co-hosts

Top White House adviser Kellyanne Conway on Tuesday blasted comments made by the hosts of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that she “needed a shower” after defending President Trump and that she was only doing it for a “paycheck.”

“The notion that I am serving for ‘the money’ or a ‘paycheck’ is absurd,” Conway wrote in a statement posted on her Twitter account.

“It is a privilege to assist President Trump in the White House, just as it was during the campaign. I know him, I respect him, I believe in him, and I am confident in his capacity to be a transformative and successful president,” she added.
