Tiger Woods appeared to have been in an accident in his Mercedes before he was busted for DUI in Florida on Monday — and didn’t seem to even know what state he was in at first, according to new details from police records.
His luxury black 2015 Benz had two flat tires on the driver’s side and “minor damage to both respective rims,” a police report says.
“There was also minor damage to the front driver’s side bumper and rear bumper, and the passenger rear tail light appeared to be out,” the document states.
When first asked where he was coming from, Woods told the cops, “LA,” the report says.
The cops then explained that they meant that night, and Woods repeated, “LA,” adding that he was “on his way down to Orange County.”
The police report says, “It should be noted that Orange County California is to the south of LA California.”
Woods later admitted he had “no idea” where he was headed at the time.
“I asked Woods where he was going, to which he stated he did not know. that he just likes to drive,” a cop says in the report.
“It should be noted the [sic] Woods was asleep at the wheel and had to be woken up,” the report says.
When Woods tried to tie his shoes, he nearly fell over. He finally took them off and put them under the front bumper of the police cruiser.
