Tiger Woods wore a sober expression Friday as he was spotted for the first time in public since his DUI arrest in Florida on Memorial Day.
The golf superstar drove to Jupiter Medical Center in his black Mercedes SUV at 1 p.m. with his two children, Sam and Charlie, in tow, according to Splash News.
Three cars with security guards followed him to the facility.
Wearing a baseball cap and athletic clothes, Woods smiled as he was greeted by a staffer at the entrance to the medical center. He spent about 30 minutes inside.
The brief hospital visit came days after police found Woods asleep at the wheel of his car and arrested him after he failed multiple sobriety tests. Dash-cam footage released Wednesday showed the golf star wobbling around and slurring his words as he attempted to follow officers’ instructions.
At one point, he admitted he had “no idea” where he was driving, according to a police report.
“I asked Woods where he was going, to which he stated he did not know, that he just likes to drive,” an officer wrote in the report.
Woods, who showed a 0.00 blood-alcohol level, later released a statement saying he had an “unexpected reaction to prescribed medications.”
The athlete told cops he had been taking several meds, including the painkiller Vicodin.
