A New Rochelle dad, who was separated from his NBC executive wife, was charged with murder for suffocating their 7-year-old daughter, reports said Wednesday.
Neil White was discovered at home by police Tuesday bleeding from his arms while his daughter, Gabriele White, was dead from what authorities believe was asphyxia by suffocation, according to the Journal News.
White’s wife, Michelle Hord-White, is a vice president for talent acquisition at NBC Universal. She filed for divorce in April and the couple was living apart, sharing custody of Gabriele, the paper reported.
“No words could sum up all that Gabriele meant to us but she was our light,” Hord-White and her family said in a statement.
“We are broken and devastated.”
