An out-of-control livery cab driver rear-ended a city bus, jumped the curb and collided with pedestrians — injuring a dozen people on Saturday, officials said.
The 58-year-old driver was on 125th Street near Park Avenue in Harlem around noon when he rammed his 2007 black Cadillac Escalade into the M60 bus that was leaving a bus stop, according to police and MTA officials.
The impact sent the SUV over the curb, where it struck a 53-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man on the sidewalk, cops said.
A 48-year-old woman who was riding in the back seat of the SUV also sustained minor injuries, police said.
The driver and the male pedestrian were taken to Harlem Hospital with minor injuries.
The female pedestrian and two bus passengers were taken to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital, also with minor injuries.
It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the crash.
A FDNY spokeswoman said a total of 12 people were hurt in the accident.
Among the 12 were two police officers on the scene — one refused medical attention and the other went to St. Luke’s with minor injuries, according to the spokeswoman. Police could not confirm the injuries.
