Boy hit by car outside of Brooklyn school
A child was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon in front of a Brooklyn building that houses several schools, officials said.
The young victim was hit just after 4:30 pm outside the school building at 70 Tompkins Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police said.
The youngster was taken to Kings County Hospital with a possible broken leg.
The location is home to middle schools Success Academy Charter School Bed-Stuy and The School for the Urban Environment; and P.S. 368, which serves first through 12th grades.
