Meet the leggy model who is the tallest in the world

She is the model who is always the height of fashion.

Now leggy beauty Ekaterina Lisina, 29, has scooped two Guinness World Records thanks to her impressive stature.

At 6ft 8.77in, she is the world’s tallest professional model.

And with her 52.2in left leg and 52in right, she is also the woman with the longest pins.

Ekaterina, of Penza, Russia, said: “I’m so excited, I’ve been trying to claim the records for months. I had to get measured so many times.”

The model has a 6ft 6in brother, 6ft 5in dad and 6ft 1in mum and has always stood out.

She said: “All my life I have had people looking at me in the street.

“In Russia they don’t ask for pictures or anything, they just stay silent and stare.

“It can be funny when you are sitting and someone comes up to you and doesn’t expect you to be so tall, then I stand up and I can see the reaction on their faces.

“When I was growing up I had to wear men’s shoes to fit my size 14 feet.

“It was horrible, I would find the most feminine-looking shoes I could. I never wore heels.”

Ekaterina has made giant strides all her life. She won a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics as part of the Russian basketball team. She now models for brands who cater for tall women and has more than 12,000 followers on Instagram.

She lives with her six-year-old son, who already towers above other children his age, in a house where she has had to have all the door frames enlarged to 7ft.

And she drives a 2009 Nissan Murano — the only car with enough legroom.

The 63rd edition of the Guinness World Records is out now.
