Condé Nast lands former SoundCloud exec
Condé Nast, looking to chop $100 million in costs and revive revenue, has just landed a new executive to head its slumping Women’s Collection, which includes Glamour, Allure and Brides.
Alison Moore joins Oct. 23, becoming the third person to hold the job of chief business officer of the women’s collection of brands in nine months. She replaces Kim Kelleher, who was moved in July to chief business officer of the Alpha Collection — a group that includes GQ, GQ Style, Wired, Pitchfork, Ars Technica and Backchannel — when the incumbent Howard Mittman bolted to Turner Sports’ Bleacher Report.
Moore, most recently at SoundCloud as chief revenue officer, has a considerably lower profile in the magazine world than her two predecessors.
