A thieving duo stole $600,000 worth of jewelry from a Manhattan store in a brazen daytime robbery, police said.
The pair walked into Sean’s Diamond and Jewelry Inc. on Canal Street near Broadway on Sept. 15 around 11:30 am, flashed guns and demanded one of the employees open the safe, according to police.
The crooks then used zip ties to restrain the three store workers before making off with their hefty haul. No one was hurt, cops said.
Cops describe one of the thieves as in his late 20s, about 6-feet-tall and 250-pounds.
He was last seen wearing a green Jets hat, black hoodie and black jeans, carrying a black book bag. The other appeared to be between 25-and 30-years-old, around 5-foot-5 and 145-pounds, last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, black baseball cap and brown shoes, cops said.
