DEVENS, Mass. — Anthony Weiner’s hard time has begun.
The disgraced ex-congressman arrived at about 10:45 a.m. Monday at the Federal Medical Center in Devens, Mass. to serve his 21-month prison sentence after he pled guilty to sexting with a 15-year-old girl.
He was driven onto the prison grounds by his brother Jason in a black Mercedes-Benz hatchback with Florida plates. The car exited the grounds about 10 minutes later.
Weiner was under orders to surrender by 2 p.m. Monday.
The 53-year-old pervy former pol, who broke down in tears during his September sentencing, called himself “a very sick man for a very long time” as he apologized in court.
The facility where Weiner will spend his sentence is 40 miles west of Boston and has over 1,000 inmates.
