While Giants fans are desperately trying to unload their tickets to Sunday’s home game against the Chiefs, coach Ben McAdoo insists that those who do may regret it.
On Friday, the head coach, who continues to sit on one of the hottest seats in the NFL, insisted that support for his team has been “great” and that MetLife Stadium will be treated to a “great show.”
“We want your support,” said McAdoo when asked to address fans on the fence about attending. “Come out, watch a great show. We plan on playing great football on Sunday and getting a win.”
It would be the team’s second of the year with the Giants coming off a 51-17 loss to the Rams at home and a 31-21 defeat to the previously winless 49ers in San Francisco.
“The fans have been nothing but great,” McAdoo said. “Our players want support. We need to give the fans something to cheer about.”
