Once destined for death, this rescued pooch — named Picasso for his contorted snout — is getting a new leash on life as a therapy dog.
The corgi-pit bull mix was born with a twisted nose that made him resemble one of Pablo Picasso’s Cubist masterpieces.
Dumped at an animal shelter in California, the pup had been facing euthanasia when the Luvable Dog Rescue group saved him.
The Eugene, Ore., group posted photos of Picasso’s unique mug online, and he became an instant hit.
“We have been swamped with offers from people from all over the country,” Luvable Dog Rescue said on the site earlier this year.
Picasso has now finally found a home and works as a therapy dog after being trained to help people with disabilities.
