Here are some key picks you should consider for this weekend’s FanDuel and DraftKings contests:
Alex Smith QB, Chiefs (FD $7,800/DK $6,300)
Titans defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau Dick LeBeau sells out to stifle the run which forces Smith to air it out more. He’s got Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce both in plus match-ups which should help fantasy owners rack up points.
Leonard Fournette RB, Jaguars (FD $8,100/DK $7,400)
The Bills’ run defense was one of the worst in the league, allowing 22 rushing touchdowns and almost 125 rushing yards per game this season. Expect the Jaguars’ offensive game plan to focus around 20-25 touches for Fournette.
Derrick Henry RB, Titans (FD $6,500/DK $6,000)
The Chiefs ranked dead-last against the run all season, and the Titans will want to keep the ball on the ground rather than the unsure hands of Marcus Mariota. Though Henry’s yards-per-carry numbers weren’t that strong, he always seems to find a way to break for a long touchdown.
Robert Woods WR, Rams (FD $7,400/DK $6,600)
Sean McVay’s West Coast offense centers around the short-passing game, which is where the Falcons have had the most trouble in coverage this season. Woods is Jared Goff’s No. 1 target and will see numerous chances on slants over the middle, at least one of which he’ll break for a big score.
