‘Cop-killer’ illegal immigrant wants to ‘break out and kill more’

An illegal immigrant who admitted to gunning down two Sacramento-area cops threatened to escape and kill more on the first day of his double murder trial, according to a report.

Luis Bracamontes, who allegedly murdered Detective Michael Davis Jr. and Deputy Danny Oliver in October 2014, smiled in court Tuesday, stating, “I will break out soon and I will kill more, kill whoever gets in front of me…There’s no need for a f–king trial,” The Sacramento Bee reported.

“I wish I had killed more of the motherf–kers,” he said, according to the paper.

Judge Steve White of the Sacramento Superior Court to threatened to remove Bracamontes from the courtroom. “You will not disrupt this trial, you will not speak out,” White said.

Barcamontes’ lawyers, Jeffrey Barbour and Norm Dawson, asked the judge to re-evaluate whether their client was sane enough to stand trial, but the motion was denied, according to the SacBee. Persisting, the defense duo asked White if he could plead not guilty by reason of insanity, reportedly believing his erratic behavior to be a sign of mental illness. However, White wouldn’t allow it, the SacBee said.

If convicted, Bracamontes potentially faces the death penalty.
