A woman was hit by a car as it drove past her in Manhattan early Sunday morning, police said.
The 24-year-old Long Island woman was standing near the northwest corner at the intersection of East 34th Street and Lexington Avenue when she was hit by the passenger side mirror of a 2006 Chrysler as it was traveling through a green light around 2:15 a.m., police said.
The woman fell to the ground upon impact and suffered a broken left arm and a rib injury. She was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
The driver, a 47-year-old man from Pennsylvania, stayed at the scene and has not been charged.
