Star Wars fans finally get full trailer for ‘Solo’

After a short tease during the Super Bowl, the full-length trailer for “Solo: A Star Wars Story” is finally here.

In the trailer from a galaxy far, far way, Han Solo appears long before he met Luke and Leia — or became a reluctant hero fighting the Empire.

“I’ve been running scams on the street since I was 10,” says Alden Ehrenreich, who portrays the iconic character. “I was kicked out of the flight academy for having a mind of my own.”

Well before the events of “Star Wars: A New Hope,” Solo also talks of one day becoming the best pilot “in the galaxy,” according to the clip, which was first aired on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Other characters who appeared for the first time in the space Western include Donald Glover’s young Lando Calrissian and Emilia Clarke’s Qi’Ra.

“I might be the only person who knows what you really are,” Clarke’s character tells Solo, the teaser hinting that they might be pals or have had a previous relationship.

Solo then demonstrates his crazy flight skills before the Millennium Falcon almost smashes into a wild space monster the likes of which “Star Wars” fans have never seen.

The full trailer comes after a 45-second clip by Lucasfilm aired Sunday night during the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots.

In that clip, the young Han is asked what he wants to be.

“I’m gonna be a pilot,” he says as he meets with Woody Harrelson’s new character, Beckett, who tells him he’s putting together a crew.

“The movie will explore the duo’s [Han and Chewbacca] adventures before the events of ‘Star Wars: A New Hope,’ including their early encounters with that other card-playing rogue from a galaxy far, far away, Lando Calrissian,” according to an official movie release.

“Solo” will delve into the origin stories of the characters Harrison Ford, Billy Dee Williams and Peter Mayhew immortalized four decades ago.

The movie had a rough production.

Halfway through its shoot, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy axed directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord due to differing creative visions — replacing them with Ron Howard, who has tweeted hints about the plot, including how Solo won the Millennium Falcon from Calrissian, according to The Verge.

“Solo” hits theaters on May 25.
