A pack of cyclists swarmed a driver on a Manhattan street — and then attacked him when he got out of his car to confront them, cops said Tuesday.
The mob of about 30 to 40 bicyclists was joyriding down West 23rd Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues in Chelsea on Saturday just before 4 p.m., when they damaged several cars, police officials said.
One of the members of the group then punched a 44-year-old man in the head and pushed him after he got out of his 2016 Chevrolet to confront them. The victim did not need to go to the hospital for his injury, cops said.

“We’re going to work with the NCO’s [neighborhood coordination officers] to do some outreach and make sure we speak to youth about some of the concerns that are going on,” NYPD’s Chief of Patrol Rodney Harrison said at an unrelated press conference.
