Like most baby boomers, Bruce Willis is downsizing.
Just weeks after finding a buyer for his 6,000-square-foot Central Park West duplex, the 62-year-old actor best known for his roles in “Die Hard” and “Pulp Fiction” has inked a contract for a roughly 3,000-square-foot home on Manhattan’s West Side, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The final contract price for the home, located in the new One West End tower at 59th Street, is not available. It was last asking $7.9 million.
Willis’ new perch with wife Emma Heming — which StreetEasy shows entered contract earlier this week — may be smaller than their old place, but it still has four bedrooms.
Douglas Elliman’s John Gomes, one of the unit’s listing brokers, told the Journal the couple was drawn to the home’s kitchen, which has a dedicated pastry-making area and a built-in coffee station.
Additional touches include floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Hudson River and the city, nearly 11-foot ceilings and wide-plank walnut floors.
Gomes also told the Journal that the pair enjoyed the building’s amenities: a garden terrace with cabanas, a gym with a 75-foot swimming pool, a game room, a media room and on-site parking.
Meanwhile, the Willises’ six-bedroom pad at 271 Central Park West, which they bought for $16.99 million in 2015, remains in contract. It was last asking $17.75 million. Its features include a library, a dramatic wooden staircase, and living and dining areas that face Central Park.
Besides Gomes, Elliman’s Fredrik Eklund, Jennifer Kalish and Jason Naggiar represented the One West End listing. Ann Cutbill Lenane, also of Douglas Elliman, represented the Willises.
