An 11-year-old girl who said she was raped by a teenage boy at a Queens church over the weekend has recanted her story, cops said Monday.
The girl initially told cops that her attacker, whom she didn’t know, grabbed her at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Corona around 6 p.m. Sunday. She said he then pulled down her pants and raped her.
She said the boy fled the church. The girl was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, and a rape kit was performed, police had said.
But the girl recanted her story under further questioning, cops said. There were no arrests.
