Megyn Kelly joins board of ‘Kelly Gang’ charity
Megyn Kelly, the host of NBC’s “Megyn Kelly Today,” has joined the board of the charity fundraising group Kelly Gang Inc.
At the group’s annual charity dinner on March 15 at Michael’s Restaurant, the group will be auctioning off studio audience tickets for her show — with a meet-and-greet afterward.
Also expected on hand is former NYPD top cop Ray Kelly, who will jet in from Paris, where he had been working recently.
The Kelly Gang has raised more than $800,000 since it turned its attention to charity as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 2004.
At that time, it held a benefit for the education fund for the children of journalist Michael Kelly, who was killed in Iraq. This year’s beneficiary is Wholesome Wave, headed by Michel Nischan. The organization is involved in bringing healthy food choices to underserved consumers.
