Shark guy chases after straphanger
At least no one was bitten in this shark attack.
Police video shows a man in a shark-mouth sweatshirt chasing after a straphanger who refused to shell out any dough at a Brooklyn subway station, cops said.
The violent man approached the 28-year-old victim asking him for cash on Sunday around 2:20 a.m. inside the Ditmas Avenue F station in Kensington.
When the unsuspecting straphanger told him he didn’t have any change to cough up, the stranger punched him in the face and began pummeling him.
Surveillance footage released by police on Wednesday night shows the shark chasing after his victim, pushing him through the turnstiles and knocking him to the ground, where the suspect continues to punch and kick him.
He emptied the injured man’s pockets, threw his property on the floor and smashed his cell phone before fleeing, police said.
The victim was taken to Maimonides Medical Center with a fractured elbow and ribs and cuts on his face. The attempted robber made off empty-handed.
