It’s home tweet home!
Kanye West has taken a break from his recent spate of philosophical tweets to show off his and Kim Kardashian’s $20 million manse, nestled in Hidden Hills, Calif.
According to Kim and Kanye’s Twitter exchange, the couple had agreed to keep images of their new home off social media. So far, Kanye hasn’t held up his side of the bargain, having uploaded three photos of the home’s sparse, beige interior today, one of which was captioned, “more tweets from the sunken place,” a reference to the terrifying hypnotic state in the blockbuster film “Get Out.”
Kim lightly chided Kanye for sharing the images, tweeting, “Ummm babe. We had a rule to not show our home on social media! Soooo can we now allow KUWTK filming in the home?”
The stark white interior and cavernous ceilings resembling scenes from “Get Out” have already prompted some Twitter trolls to Photoshop themselves into the Kardashian-West hallway:
Others, like @JasonOverstreet, are deriding ’Ye for his ignorance about what “the sunken place” actually represents: “The sunken place is mental, not a house. The fact that you don’t understand this tells us everything. It has nothing to do with wealth.”
