Charles Barkley can’t believe how ‘dumb’ the Cavaliers are

Charles Barkley shredded the Cavaliers following their 110-102 loss at home Wednesday night, sinking to a 3-0 deficit against the Warriors.

Following Game 3 of the NBA Finals, the unfiltered analyst ripped Cleveland for its inferior performance, as Kevin Durant scored a game-high of 43 points and the Cavs had no answers for Golden State’s offense.

“I’ve never seen a team that dumb in my life,” Barkley said on NBA TV, via 247 Sports, before ranting about the Warriors’ bluff screens that resulted in so many layups. “I mean that seriously. On a simple slip screen, for the same play to work that many times, that’s just stupidity. You have to blame the players to a certain degree and the coaches. To run a simple play like that and get a layup every single time, that’s just dumb and stupid.”

Despite a monstrous 33-point performance from LeBron James, it wasn’t enough to carry the Cavaliers to the finish line.

“Definitely a tough loss,” James said after the game. “Tonight will be tough. Tomorrow I’ll replay some plays and some moments and things of that nature. When I wake up Friday morning I’ll be locked in on the game plan of what needs to be done to help our team win. That’s just who I am.”

The reigning champions will have the chance to sweep the Cavaliers with a Game 4 win Friday night in Cleveland.
