It’s a home fit for a king — even if The Captain no longer wants it.
Former New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter is selling an upstate castle for which he paid $425,000 15 years ago — with an asking price of $15 million.
The “magical” Greenwood Lake abode, known as the Tiedemann Castle, features a 6-foot stone wall, infinity pool and Statue of Liberty replica, according to an online listing for the property.
“Soak in extensive lake views after climbing the turret stairs,” the listing proclaims. “There’s something here for everyone!”
The sprawling abode, which Jeter is listing for $14.75 million, also features six bedrooms, a lagoon and a dozen bathrooms. It sits on 4 acres roughly 50 miles northwest of the Bronx.
The stone castle has long ties to Jeter’s family — his grandfather Sonny Connors, the adopted son of John and Julia Tiedemann, who purchased it in 1952, grew up there.
Jeter bought the castle in 2003 and spent at least $2 million fixing it up, according to the Times Herald-Record of Middletown.
The standout shortstop retired from the Yankees in 2014. He’s now co-owner and CEO of the Miami Marlins.
