LeSean McCoy’s ex-girlfriend thought he ‘set her up’

An incident log released Thursday by the Milton, Ga., police department reveals Delicia Cordon believed ex-boyfriend LeSean McCoy might have set up the home invasion that resulted in Cordon being beaten and robbed.

A note at 3:28 a.m., 10 minutes after police were called, reads, “The caller [possibly] thinks her ex boyfriend [possibly] set her up.”

Though Cordon’s name is not in the report, the description of the incident matches what Cordon’s attorneys described in a statement Tuesday. Cordon told police a window in her 16-year-old son’s second-floor room was open and a sheet was tied as if someone went out from there.

The caller later connected with the son, according to the log, and he returned home safe in an Uber.

The suspect was described as a black man wearing a mask, dressed in all black. According to the log, Cordon also told police her neighbors have cameras outside the house.

Police also have released three reports of incidents of cops being called to the home for domestic disputes, though there is no evidence of violence in any case. The incidents occurred in July 2017 and April and June 2018.

Cordon’s lawyer has suggested McCoy may have been involved in the break-in.

The NFL is reviewing the matter, while the Bills said Tuesday they were in contact with both McCoy and the NFL. The star running back has thus far denied accusations he was involved in the incident.

“For the record, the totally baseless and offensive claims made against me today on social media are completely false,” McCoy said in a statement Tuesday. “Furthermore, I have not had any direct contact with any of the people involved in months.”
