LeSean McCoy’s ex-girlfriend describes her face in a 911 call as being “demolished” by the home intruder who left her bloodied early Tuesday morning, according to the audio released on Thursday.
An audibly distraught Delicia Cordon detailed to the dispatcher the violence that ensued after the break-in to the Georgia home, an act she said she believed had “something to do with” the Bills running back.
“Someone broke into my house, [hit] me with a gun, was looking for money and jewelry and my son is missing,” Cordon can be heard saying on the other line, in audio obtained by TMZ.
During the phone call, Cordon repeatedly expressed concern for her 16-year-old son, who she said went “missing” after the invasion. She also explained how the intruder had robbed her.
“He took my diamond bracelet off my wrist. He just kept asking for jewelry. I think this has something to do with my ex-boyfriend,” Cordon said.
“My face is demolished right now,” she later added.
Cordon told her lawyer of her suspicions of McCoy. In a statement released Tuesday night, he said McCoy had gifted her the “specific items of jewelry” the attacker demanded during the break-in.
“In fact, after Ms. Cordon refused to return her jewelry gifts to Mr. McCoy, he would often suggest to Ms. Cordon that she could be robbed because the jewelry was expensive because the jewelry was expensive,” the statement read.
McCoy, a nine-year NFL pro, has denied any involvement in the incident.
