ArDarius Stewart’s second chance to make a good impression is off to a rocky start.
The Jets wide receiver will have his sophomore season delayed by a two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s PED policy and testing positive for a diuretic or masking agent, according to the NFL Network.
As a rookie last year, Stewart played in 15 games but only caught six passes for 82 yards. The Jets drafted the Alabama product in the third round (79th overall) in 2017.
Stewart is expected to provide depth at wide receiver along with fellow second-year pro Chad Hansen and Terrelle Pryor behind projected starters Robby Anderson, Jermaine Kearse and Quincy Enunwa.
