A woman fled a luxury Manchester hotel in her pajamas before collapsing in a pool of blood after her throat was “slit” as cops arrested six people, including a teen girl.
The victim, with lacerations to her neck, managed to flag down cops around 11:10 a.m. Monday after the attack at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester, England.
On Monday evening, the woman was released from the hospital after being treated for serious cuts.
Cops confirmed four men and two women, including one 17-year-old girl, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Dramatic pictures show two women being led away from the scene by cops, including one wearing pajamas, in the back of a police van.
The two women were led away in handcuffs as police put up a cordon outside the hotel and in one of the rooms.
Horrified witness Sasha Ray, 42, who works in a nearby furniture store, said: “I saw a guy being arrested and a young lady in the corner of the car park across the road.”
“She was laying down on the floor, covered in blood and her legs were moving up and down as if she was having a fit.”
Another bystander added: “There was a woman who had run out of the Hilton and into the [parking lot] a few doors away.”
“She has run out of the hotel in her pajamas.”
Anthony Hilton told the Manchester Evening News: “We saw a police van turn up in the [parking lot].”
“One by one they starting arriving, there must have been at least 15.”
“One of my colleagues was walking back. He saw a woman on the floor with a large slash across the throat.”
“Police were with her at that point, more and more police turned up. They were running in and out of the Hilton Hotel.”
“Then an ambulance turned up and they have only just taken her away.”
Another witness said the woman ran out of the hotel “screaming and holding her throat.”
Greater Manchester Police earlier said the incident is not believed to be terror-related.
A spokesperson added: “Armed police remain at the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate in the city center after a woman was attacked inside the hotel.”
“Shortly after 11:10 am on Monday 23 July 2018 police officers on Deansgate were flagged down by a woman with serious injuries to her neck.”
The Hilton Manchester Deansgate occupies floors 1 to 22 of Manchester’s Beetham Tower and has 279 rooms.
A spokesperson for the hotel said: “We can confirm that a serious incident took place at the hotel this morning.”
“The matter is now in the hands of the Greater Manchester Police and we are cooperating fully as they conduct their investigation.”
