A wild brawl broke out between two women jockeying for the most flattering spot to snap a selfie at a popular tourist attraction in Rome, according to a report.
A 19-year-old Dutch gal and a 44-year-old Italian-American took vanity to new heights Wednesday evening when they began bickering over a space in front of the Trevi Fountain as a sunset created prime lighting, according to the UK Guardian.
Both ready for their close-ups, the women refused to budge from their staked-out spots — and began throwing punches, the paper reported.
Eight onlookers, including family members, joined in the fight and at least three cops were called to the scene to break up the selfie spat, according to the local paper La Repubblica. The tourists suffered only bruises.
The Trevi Fountain was built in 1762 and has appeared in films such as “Roman Holiday” and “La Dolce Vita.”
The fountain attracts thousands of visitors each year to the site, where throwing a coin over your left shoulder is said to guarantee another trip to Rome.
