It’s onto Oakland for newly traded Raiders quarterback AJ McCarron and wife Katherine Webb.
After the Bills traded McCarron, 27, to the Raiders on Saturday for a 2019 fifth-round draft pick, the signal-caller’s model wife took to Instagram, sharing her gratitude for Buffalo.
“Oh..life comes at you fast! We have loved being here in beautiful Buffalo, NY!! Excited for @ajmccarron and his new adventure with the Oakland Raiders. We will miss this fan base and organization 💙 Thank y’all for having us!” Webb, 29, captioned a snap of McCarron holding their 2-year-old son, Tripp.
McCarron, a 2014 fifth-round choice of the Bengals who never got a shot in Cincinnati, signed a two-year, $10 million deal with the Bills in March. Following McCarron’s departure, rookie Josh Allen and returning backup Nathan Peterman are the only quarterbacks on Buffalo’s roster.
As for McCarron, he’ll likely become Derek Carr’s backup, as the Raiders have since released Connor Cook and former Bills quarterback EJ Manuel.
