Oakland’s $100 million man is keeping the NFL entertained.
The Raiders signed former Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman to their practice squad on Wednesday, according to NFL Network.
Buffalo cut ties with the turnover-prone Peterman back in November. He had seven interceptions in four appearances on the season after throwing five in his first start as a rookie a season ago.
Raiders coach Jon Gruden, who has an interesting relationship with Oakland’s current quarterback, Derek Carr, has supported Peterman, leading up to last year’s draft.
“He looks like a pro quarterback — coming out of the huddle, running an offense with different formations,” Gruden wrote for ESPN, where he was an analyst and contributed to “Monday Night Football’s” commentary.
Gruden also detailed, “Peterman is ready to walk in and be a contributor.”
