A 13-year-old stabbed her male classmate on Wednesday inside a Bronx school cafeteria following a dispute that started online, police said.
The girl stabbed the 14-year-old pupil in the right shoulder around 12 p.m. inside the lunchroom of Hostos-Lincoln Academy of Science on St. Ann’s Avenue in Melrose, according to cops.
He was taken to Lincoln Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Cops said the beef began on social media, though details weren’t immediately clear.
The girl, whose identity was not released, was taken into police custody at the scene with charges pending. No weapon was recovered at the scene.
NYPD School Safety Agents are assigned to the school, which houses Grades 6 through 12.
